I got another pair of false eyelashes from a brand that uses only natural hair & a 100% handmade. Yes, we're talking about D'Eyeko!! So this is the last pair I have. It's a Premium Lashes Natural Volume with code 154.
From the package, I knew these false eyelashes will bring an extreme difference & nuance to my eyes, and also will make my eyes look wider and bigger. Because well, I have these Asian-like eyes *iye iyeee, mata gue emang sipit* -__________-"
So here they are my eyes without any false eyelashes, with mascara on & had been curled with the eyelash curler.
Without false eyelashes
And here is the difference when I had put one false eyelashes to my left eye
One false eyelashes on
See the difference? Quite significant, huh?
Yeaps! These false eyelashes is lighter than the other two that I've posted before, but the hair is longer and they create natural volume to your eyelashes. So yeah, basically this product creates a big difference for slanted eyes like mine.
Here's the result
Both false eyelashes on
See? Really makes a difference, right? But amazingly they don't look "cheap" or "fake". Well of course, because the D'Eyeko Premium Lashes are a 100% hand-made with only natural hairs. A better natural look for my eyes ^^
But even any mass-producted brands have their own weakness. Actually this depends on personal taste. For my taste, I don't really like the plastic hair-connective. Because it's rather hard to be glued in my lid & it's even harder to cover the white plastic with another layer of eyeshadow / eyeliner. Really, I've tried several times to cover the white connective but it's still uncovered :( Yes, for my personal taste, I'd rather use a false eyelashes using a string / yarn connective. But again, it depends on personal taste :)
Overall from the three false eyelashes from the D'Eyeko brand, I like these series most. Nice! ^^
Holaaa! Another review of D'EyekoPremium Lashes. What I'm gonna share now is a 100% handmade false eyelashes from D'Eyeko. It's called "In Da Club!"
First impression? Hmmm, yeah... These lashes best suit for a night out activity a.k.a clubbing! Hehehe...But I believe these lashes can suit in any day occasions as well, depends on the theme.
What I like about these false lashes is that they use natural hair, and again yes... they won't distract or annoy your eyes. I used them all day at work & I didn't feel any uncomfortable feeling because of using them.
They add volume to my real eyelashes & add a bit length to them as well. But the volume & the length are not too extreme and exposed. Overall, when I applied in on my eyes, many of my friends didn't even realize that I use a pair of false eyelashes. Nice! :)
It's been a while, yes? Well, there nothing much to say about my life this week besides work, work and work. But hey, now I do have a thing to say! Let's talk about
Flirtatious false eyelashes from D'EyekoPremium Lashes! So IMO these lashes are designed to be a very natural false lashes. It's proven because when I tried it, the false lashes didn't "come out" so well. They increase your lashes volume, yes. But they don't make your lashes look curlier / longer.
These 100% handmade false lashes best suit for everyday wear. Like going to work / casual occasions. I don't think they'll suit for going to campus/school. It's not like you will meet Brad Pitt or something in your school. LOL. These lashes also use natural hair, so they're not heavy for your eyes. For about 15 minutes after you put them on, your eyes will quickly adjust with the false lashes. After then, you won't even realize that you actually put any false lashes on them. They're so liiight, like my body! (Yea rite! Uh huh uh huh) LOL
Sorry for the bad camera quality. But actually if if I used an SLR camera, wouldn't even make any big difference anyway.
After I put them on. See? It looks like I don't wear any.
Average length. Average volume. So natural. Hype these!
Ow yeah, make sure you use a good lashes glue because these lashes
are a bit hard to put on the lids. Or is it just me who is still very
amateur about the false lashes thingy? Well, I dunno, LOL
That's prolly the best line I could pick for describing this movie. As I promised before in my previous entry that I would review The Mama Cake Movie. So here it is. I'm gonna tell you what I saw, I felt & I learned from this movie directed by Anggy Umbara.
The movie tells about three best buddies who go to Bandung to buy brownies cake from Mama Cake factory. It's a duty / amanah from Rakha's dying grandmother - in which you can call it as the last wish from her. On their way to Bandung, they face lots of things, bad lucks, incidents & surprises like fighting over a woman, getting suffered from a car-theft, debating about Darwin's Theory VS the Holy Qur'an and others. They get into their anger limit which causing them to have a big fight until they decide to go in separate ways. Raka - the idealistic young man trying to fulfill his grandma's wish to bring Mama Cake brownies to her, stumbled by many problems like meeting a nice girl, getting robbed, sexually abused & lost his car in the road. Willy, his playboy buddy... Almost welcomes his death after being beaten by bunch of rascals over stupid jealousy & how he finally realizes how jerk he has been through these times by continuously lying to his loyal girlfriend, Lolly, when he tries to conceal his many affairs with other women. And the last is Rio, who considers "love" as his religion and think that there's nothing above love, he tries to be united with the nature but he disregards The One who created the nature in where he's living now.
Before experiencing lots of weird things, on their way to Bandung, these three fellas hit a mysterious guy. Amazingly, he didn't injured even a bit. This mysterious man is played by Fajar Umbara, Anggy's brother. Funny thing is I don't remember his name in this movie. And yet I believe that he never mentioned his name until the movie ends anyway. Yes, he remains a mystery. I guess, the role that Fajar plays is one of the key roles in the story.
In short, many things we can learn from this movie; especially about faith, belief & trustworthiness. About which one would you prefer to believe; a holy book that has been in the world for centuries to guide people in running their lives within the right path or a theory from a man who didn't live less than a century? Which one would you choose, love over sincerity or the vice versa? Which one would you prefer? Hurt someone because of the truth or a white lie? Which one would you choose; believe in God or media's propaganda in the name of "Agama Cinta"?
My #jlebh moments are in 3 parts; a moment when the mysterious guy is explaining to Rio about the four elements of nature [Fire, wind, water & ground] which are existed in Shalat's movements. The moment when Willy says "They should create a new word above 'Sorry'. Because now, to say 'Sorry' to you is not enough. Never enough" and the last is when Rakha's grandma runs into him & eats the Mama Cake brownies happily. Well, you won't know why that scene is my #jlebh moment before you watch it yourself ;)
Frankly speaking, I flood my cheeks with tears. And ha! Lots of the boys there were teary as well, but they hide it soo well [Damn!] :')))
The boys after watching Mama Cake premiere
MOGerz :')
With Mami [The Umbara's mom]. Mami-nya anak-anak ^^
I dare myself to give 4 stars out of 5 to this movie. The visuality is fresh, though maybe not too original because there are some other comical-effect movies too before Mama Cake. For example, many comic lovers say that Mama Cake is a bit similar to Scott Pilgrim. But hey, in Indonesia? Have you seen a movie is similarly visualized like Mama Cake before?
I don't think so.
Really, for a truth-seeker, you have... No. You MUST watch this movie. Great visualization. Great humor. Down-to-earth line picking. And of course, tons of moral messages sent.
What are you waiting for. Tomorrow's weekend. Go buy the ticket!
Meanwhile, I wanna congratulate Anggy, Dicky, Bounty, Thouva, Fajar and Al... My friends behind this movie. Proud of you, guys! *standing ovation*
OST Mama Cake: Iwan Fals Feat. Ladunni - Belum Ada Judul
I just watched a very highly recommended movie named "Mama Cake" last nite. A film directed by one of my friends & also one of the #IndonesiaTanpaJIL 's activists - Anggy Umbara. The scenes are still rewinding in my head. This movie gave lots of "jlebh" moments for me. Well, I won't say much in here. Will write the whole review in my next entry :p
Anyway, last Sunday Sept 9th, all #IndonesiaTanpaJIL supporters from Jabodetabek + Bandung attended a Halal Bihalal event, along with an establishment of ITJ's new secretariat. And this is what's interesting. Our new secretariat is located at 68B, Utan Kayu. Yes, our office now is precisely across JIL's office - 68H Utan Kayu. Isn't nice, or nice, yes? :D
So the Halal bihalal started at 1 pm. Fauzi Baadilla was the host because yeah, the house is actually his house. But he bequests the house to be ITJ's secretariat. Barakallahu Fiik, Bang Oji. May Allah always grant you with lots of blessings, aamiin...
Some coordinators gave speech as the opening; Galih, Gatot, Japra & Bang Oji. Then Kang Hafidz Ary gave another spirit-lifting speech and after that Ust. Herry Nurdin gave a breezy enlightening tausyiah for about more than a 100 attendees that day. The special thing was that Bapak Taufik Ismail [An Indonesian writer & poet] gave a very amazing poem about Liberalism in Islam & how he supports fully to our movement #IndonesiaTanpaJIL. I felt so moved by his reading, so touchy :')
The last person to give speech is no other than Uda Akmal Sjafril, the writer of a best-seller book named "Islam Liberal 101". Then we continued the silaturahmi with playing several ITJ movement videos from the beginning till now. We closed the first session with praying together.
After Ashar pray, we gathered separately between the guys and the girls to have the greeting session, in where each of the attendee gave his/her introduction about their names, jobs, ages, places, etc. The gathering finished 30 minutes before Maghrib time. We cleaned up all trashes & put everything back to where they were. Then everybody went home, learned & satisfied :)
I hope this event is another big stepping stone for #IndonesiaTanpaJIL movement to spread its wings wider & embrace more people to help them realize how dangerous JIL is. We hope ITJ could widen up our ukhuwah all across the country & abroad.
The next agenda to do is SILATNAS [Silaturahmi Nasional] #IndonesiaTanpaJIL which we have been preparing now. According to the plan, it will be done on mid October at Lembang - Bandung. We will soon follow the updated news up to you & of course this event is open for everybody... Everybody who doesn't want the deen of Islam destroyed by those liberal rapists!
Meanwhile, enjoy the pics I upload below. Salam ukhuwah. Salam #IndonesiaTanpaJIL ;)
